I do not doubt the sincerety of those donated to the Tsunami fund setup by numerous people and bodies.

I just find posing for the camera while holding the huge/small cheque and smiling away .. err.. inappropriate (to put it mildly)

There was even a group photo of a few people holding cash on top of the ballot box.

Maybe it's the media's fault; photographers asking them to do it.

Maybe that's how donation is handed out here in Malaysia.

I don't know.

I hope I don't do it any where, any time, any place.
